How do I reactivate my TRICARE4u account? ›

To reactivate the account please provide your username, sponsor number, and the last four digits of your social security number. When these fields are complete, please click on 'Activate My Account.

Providers registered at www.tricare-west.com can access all the tools on our secure portal: submit claims and referrals and check status, verify patient eligibility, view provider remits, and more.

If you receive an error message indicating your account is locked, please contact Web Services at 1-800-440-3114. Enter your tricare-west.com username. If you forget your password you can reset your own password by providing the answer to your security question.

The DoD Benefits Number (DBN) is an 11-digit number on the back of the ID card. It verifies your TRICARE eligibility and helps you to file your claims. This is the number your doctor's office will need to use to file claims. You will need to use it if you're filing your own claims.

If you are disenrolled from TRICARE Prime for failure to pay, you have 90 days* from your disenrollment date to be reinstated. A full payment is required to bring the policy current. There isn't an enrollment card for TRICARE For Life. All you need is your Medicare card and military ID as proof of coverage. In most cases, your provider files your claims with Medicare. Medicare pays its portion first and sends the claim to the TRICARE For Life claims processor.
