Located one hour North of Toronto. Blackpool Kennels is a long established Golden Retriever kennel. We breed quality not quantity so you can expect to wait for a puppy. All parents are matched by numerous criteria — temperament, health, breed type, DNA, and characteristics of the breed just to name a few. By way of introduction, let me explain our logo. Alice (CH Sugartree’s Alice Of Storiline CD) is our foundation female. Alice’s father is Can CH Butterblac’s Utter Chaos Can CD and her mother is Can CH Butterblac’s Zara of Sugartree CD. This strength is reflected in a tall and sturdy family tree with Alice at its base.
We have built on this strong foundation through stringent selection of females that are sound in temperament and have six clearances (hips, elbows, heart, annual eye, thyroid and PennHIP) bred to males that are at least as accomplished as they are. We are so very proud of our Golden Retrievers!
