Achter het liedje: ‘Wasting My Young Years’ van London Grammar - Lowlove: For the love of Lowlands (1)

Aftelserie

In september 2013 verscheen dan eindelijk het langverwachte If You Wait. Een albumvol ijzingwekkende liedjes en treurnis. Naast de hit ‘Hey Now’ vielook ‘Wasting My Young Years’ op.

Het blijven proberen (I’m chasing old ideas) en het afwachten van de ander (I don’t know what you want / Don’t leave me hanging on). Letterlijk: “I’m wasting my young years”.

Live brult men de teksten mee.
